And Then She Bled formiert sich im Jahr 2012 mit nur einem Ziel: Wir wollen die Metalcore Szene im nordrheinwestfälischen Bocholt neu aufleben lassen.
Hierzu formt sich eine bunte Tüte aus erfahrenen Musikern. Am Anfang stehen Damian und Benjo mit einer Idee. Seit Jahren verbindet diese beiden eine musikalische Beziehung und viel Erfahrung in den verschiedensten Bereichen der Musik.
Benjo, ehemals Drummer bei der Metalcore-Walze "Davy Jones" besetzt hiermit die erste Gitarre, zusammen mit Damian an den Drums können wir letztendlich Domme, ehemals bei den lokal Matadoren von "Shadow of Being", als Opa der Band an die zweite Gitarre setzen.
Abschließend konnten wir unsere Band-Schönheit Caro mit ins Boot holen. Mit ihrer Erfahrungen aus einer Metalcore-Kombo und (...) Mehr anzeigensonstigen musikalischen Projekten in und um Bocholt, konnten wir hier das Sexappeal in die Band reinbringen.
Mitte 2012 erschien dann der Music Sampler für HC und Metal von Brainbuster Music mit unserer ersten Aufnahme und unserer ersten Auskopplung "Changing Minds".
Bis zum Frühjahr 2013 waren wir in dieser Besetzung schwer unterwegs, haben viele nette Leute kennen gelernt und einiges an unserer Musik gepfeilt.

Anfang des Jahres 2013 geht es dann in die Versenkung, um euch schon bald was neues zu präsentieren. Während dieser Phase, kam es zu internen Konflikten innerhalb der Band und so entschied man sich nach Abschluß der recordings sich von unserem Fronter Mattes zu trennen. Aber Ersatz war schnell gefunden, so holten wir im April 2013 unseren neuen Mann am Mic Jan ins Boot.

Die erste EP mit 4 Songs in neuer Besetzung werden wir gegen Mitte 2013 rausbringen und zum freien download zur Verfügung stellen.

And Then She Bled was founded in 2012 with a straight aim: To recruit the metalcore scene in Bocholt, North Rhine-Westphalia.
For this reason different musicians came together. First of all Damian and Benjo, who were connected through several musical projects and different kinds of music in the past.
Benjo, once the drummer of the local metalcore Band “Davy Jones” and genius of the band, is now playing the Lead-Guitar. Damian still stick to the drums and Domme, once Lead-Guitar of the local heroes from “Shadow of Being”, is now bringing a lot of experience to the band. No wonder that he is also known as the “Grandpa”.
Finally we also find Caro as a sexy bass player for our band. With a lot of talent and a lot more of sex appeal she made us complete.
In the middle of 2012 we released our first song called “Changing Minds” featuring our old fronter on the music sampler Brainbuster “Somewhere between Metal and Hardcore”.
Since then we were very busy in playing shows, meeting nice people and partying the shit out of our fans.
At the beginning of 2013 we decided to produce something new, something big, something which will revolute the music scene in Bocholt. During this recording sessions we decided to separate us from our fronter Mattes. But we were not who we are, if we shouldn’t know what to do.
So we got in contact with Jan, a good fellow and former vocalist of the band “Booze Abuze”.
So better be excited for the upcoming period. We gonna release all 4 songs as a free download.
