Have you ever thought about how really heavy psychedelic, trance inducing rock music should sound like? These guys here did. Godzilla In The Kitchen is a three-piece instrumental rock band from Leipzg, Germany. All band members were early infected by the work of great alternative musicians such as Tool, Mogwai or Kyuss to name a few.
In 2011 they started their first rehearsals, trying to combine all the different musical aspects tabled by every single one of them to create a unique mixture of melodical recognizability and rhythmic complexity. After three years of on-stage experience and practice these three guys decided to finally get their work pressed on a more tangible and of course a more sellable format.
So they started recording sessions in April 2014 and – after more than one year o (...) Mehr anzeigenf recording, mixing and mastering a total of 10 songs with around 60 mins playing time – they were very proud to release their self-titled debut album in May 2015. After a long writing session from 2016 to 2018 they went their own separate ways for almost 2 years. Finally and luckily they took decision to reunite in 2021 to get on stage again.
On the 2nd of April 2021 they released their first music video for Dr. Moth, a song from their first album. The album was remastered and reissued on this date on a double vinyl. In March 2021 they started the recordings of their second album which will be released in June 2022.
