Dave Shilhanek

dave silhanek was born 1959 in prag. he grew up with cassic, jazz and eastern music. after the emigration to switzerland he discovered jimi hendrix, santana, black sabath, zep and charlie parker, miles davis and john colterane. and funk. and punk. so at the age of 12 he recieved his first guitar, which guided him more and more into the music. he started performing with local bands and formed his own groups. such as into, levitate, free drinks. all from heavy space rockin to anarcho-metalllatinjazz-music theatre. in the 80ties he was livin in berlin, paris,new york ... the caribians and then he was runnin a music-restaurant in sri lanka . with the outburst of the civil war he seddled over to india, where he spent a few years-playing in a striptease, doing a lot of jams and projects, ...tour (...) Mehr anzeigening with... the outlaws, with whom he came back to great britain, where the band split. back in switzerland he's studied as well literature, politics and history as going on again with music ( eg. latin band tour through spain and portugal). in the nineties he opened dave's guitar&bass-school and worked with the gangsters in love, farbstoff, subzonic, worst aid, nuclear winter, vera kaa, greg galli etc. up from the millenium he also played with dave&the goliaths, wild east and has co-founded sahara rain.
