Scenic Heap

Scenic Heap rediscovered itself in the mid-2010s. After singer Svenja Kahlke had left the band, Thorsten Holthausen (guitar), Stephan Fischer (guitar), Thorsten Debus (bass) and Stephan Stock (drums) tried new styles, sounds and especially vocals, until finally the singer Ulf Fischer was found who fit perfectly.

With a new line-up, the style changes without losing the original band sound. The drum groove is supported by sound carpets and melodic lines of the guitars. The piano accompaniment and the use of modern keyboard sounds in some songs are new.

The lyrics of the songs revolve around the topic of life developments and now have an even greater focus on the changes in society.

In 2017, Scenic Heap released the album "Splitted Doors", which reflects this band development in 11 new (...) Mehr anzeigensongs - all pearls that go straight to the ear with the remaining melancholic touch and stay in the head. Influences from bands like Coldplay, U2 and The Verve are unmistakable.
