Stell Dir folgende Szene vor:
Dein zufrieden blubbernder V-8 trägt Dich auf dem Highway gen Süden. Strahlend blauer Himmel und die Landschaft zieht gemütlich an Dir vorbei. Wie kann dieser Tag noch perfekter werden?. Du schaltest das Radio an und denkst nur „Staggin’ Rutt! ist das ein geiler Sound. Was ist das da eigentlich, was mich mit 3 G in den Sitz drückt? Zu hart für Rock’n’Roll und gleichz...eitig zu melodisch für Punk.“ Hauptsache Dich beobachtet jetzt niemand, denn Dein Grinsen würde sicherlich ansteckend wirken.
Szenenwechsel:
Du sitzt in einer Bar – stell Dir einfach Deine Lieblings-Bar vor – und beobachtest diese 5 Musiker beim aufbauen ihres Equipments. Sieht nach ner klassischen Besetzung mit 2 Gitarren, Baß, Schlagzeug und einem Sänger aus und Du bist gespannt, was sich hier (...) Mehr anzeigen wieder für ein Drama anbahnt. Doch schon die ersten Klänge des Soundchecks heben Deine Stimmung und plötzlich denkst Du „Staggin’ Rutt!, das wird ein geiler Abend!“
So, oder so ähnlich sollte jeder Tag aussehen. Y’all come and feel Staggin’ Rutt!
Imagine the following scene::
Your satisfied bubbling V-8 takes you southbound down the highway. Bright blue sky and the landscape files unhurriedly past you. How can this day be more perfect? You turn the radio on and think to yourself "Staggin' Rutt! This sound is gorgeous. What is that, pushing me into the cushions with a 3-G-force? "Too hard for rock 'n' roll and at the same time too melodic for punk." Most important: no one is watching you right now. Your smile would definitely be contagious.
Change of scenery:
You are sitting in a bar –just imagine your favorite bar - and you’re watching these 5 musicians rigging up their stuff. Looks like the classic setup with 2 guitars, bass, drums and a singer. You just can´t wait for another nite of musical drama. But already the first tunes of the sound check lift your mood and suddenly you think ' Staggin' Rutt!, this is going to be a great evening! "
