The Harazz ...each of you who is thinking about his neighbour's dog trying to become a rockstar when reading this name is luckily wrong! Nonetheless The Harazz is not a band in its original sense. It is far more a project of five young men who cannot cope with Metalcore any longer and who have never ever had any fun with NuMetal.
The guyes have been playing together since june 2006 and have dedicated themself to pure ROCK! Although you can easily imagine them playing live on stage at a cowboy ranch or in a distellery, which might be an appropriate scenery for the kind of music they are playing, you should not think of some lost figures who are still living in their dreams about being Alice Cooper's best friend. No, all of them are smart young men living in the Aachen area and wh (...) Mehr anzeigeno just love music.
Each of them has his origin in a different branch of music Crossover, Metal, Hardcore, Alternative, Jazz ... just to name a few.
The Harazz was born as an idea of Thomas (Bass) and his cousin Uwe (Drums). They quickly found other guyes willing to support them with the best of their arts to make The Harazz an ultimative sound experience for all lovers of good old ROCK.
Although fun plays the biggest role in this project, you will not be forced to hear a musical mess as a result of too much fun in the rehearsal room! All the members of The Harazz learned their instruments quite well at a music school and they also have a lot of experience in playing live on stage. The guitarrist even studied his instrument at a conservatorie, but as you see even professionals enjoy playing good, old, dirty, homemade rock music. So The Harazz issue a guarantee of high quality music.
After only a few jam-sessions The Harazz found their style in sound and music straight rock music. Sometimes their music is fast, sometimes slow, sometimes it is noisy, sometimes gentle, sometimes it is heavy and sometimes very melodic. With his cool, bright but raspy voice, Fabian (Vocals, of course) helps the music to be something very individual and something never boring to listen to. The sound of the band is rather a rough one, but none of their songs appears to be too hard. Instead the music will give you a certain pub after midnight-atmosphere and the feeling that the songs can be played and sung even after having had lots of beers. This might be a bit of clishee but who the hell cares?! Aren't big cars, bottles of whiskey, horny coozies and a nice Harley a pleasure of its own? Coyote Ugly could be the idea of The Harazz and the sound must fit, of course!
Live on stage the band wants to give back their motto 'Let's have some fun' to the crowd, and what could be heard in their jam sessions so far promisses success for this ambition! And by the way, several gigs are planned for this very year 2006.
In the meantime the five guyes still have to do some work on their songs, because the one or the other gig is not everything the band is planning for the month left of 2006. Together with a guest musician they want to record a demo album during the winter 06 / 07, which sounds like a lot of fun for all of them. Make yourself ready for what is comming soon!

The Harazz wer nun denkt, Nachbars Schäferhund versucht sich an RockNRoll, liegt zum Glück falsch. Dennoch es handelt sich nicht um eine Band in dem Sinne, sondern um ein Projekt von fünf jungen Männern, die in der heutigen Zeit dem Metalcore nichts abgewinnen können und an NuMetal noch nie wirklich Spaß hatten.
Die seit Juni 2006 im Proberaum fleißig agierende Combo The Harazz widmet sich schlichtweg dem Rock! Auch wenn man sich gut vorstellen könnte, sie live auf einer Cowboy-Ranch oder in einer Whiskey-Brennerei - als wohl passendstes Szenario für diese Art von Rocksound - spielen zu lassen, so hat man es hier nicht mit gescheiterten Existenzen, sondern mit intelligenten, musikbegeisterten Mannsbildern aus dem Aachener Raum zu tun!
Ob nun Crossover, Metal, Hardcore, Alternative oder sogar Jazz, alle beteiligten Musiker stammen aus den unterschiedlichsten Sparten der Gitarrenmusik. Die Initiatoren des Projekts, Bassist Thomas und Schlagzeuger Uwe, haben in ihrem Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis motivierte Mitstreiter ausfindig gemacht, die sich nun zusammen als The Harazz daran machen, sämtliche Facetten des guten alten Rock in ein neues Klangerlebnis zu packen!
Spaß steht dabei an erster Stelle, aber da alle Mitglieder dieses Projekts in den langjährigen Genuss von Musikschule kamen und über ausreichend Bühnenerfahrung durch frühere Projekte und ihre derzeitigen Bands verfügen, bleibt die musikalische Qualität dabei keinesfalls auf der Strecke! Gut, dass man sogar einen studierten Gitarristen in seinen Reihen hat, ist wohl ein Glücksfall, aber wie man sieht, haben auch Profis mal Spaß an Garagenrock!
The Harazz brachten schon nach wenigen gemeinsamen Jam-Sessions ihren Sound hervor: schlichtweg straighte Rockmusik! Mal schnell, mal langsam, mal laut, mal leise, mal deftig, mal melodisch verspielt, mit Fabian einen guten Sänger, dessen freche, kratzige, helle Stimme das ganze noch individueller macht und die gewisse Portion Extra dazu - so klingt die Mischung niemals langweilig! Jeder Song für sich ist ein echtes Brett, ohne zu hart zu klingen. Es ist ein eher rauer Klang, der den Sound der Band prägt, ein wenig Kneipenatmosphäre sicherlich, die Songs sind scheinbar auch mit 1,5 Promille noch spielbar - aber ein bisschen Klischee muss sein, oder? Schließlich erfreut man sich auch an Whiskey, noblen Karossen, Fliegerbrillen und leicht bekleidete Damen. Coyote Ugly könnte glatt The Harazz Idee gewesen sein und dazu muss der Sound ja passen!
Live will die Band gemäß ihrem Motto: Hauptsache Spaß! natürlich viel davon an das Publikum weitergeben und genauso abwechslungsreich und energiegeladen wie ihre Songs dürfte allein der Proben nach entsprechend ihre Show werden! Eine Menge Gigs sind noch für dieses Jahr in Planung.
Momentan wird demnach fleißig geprobt, denn neben den Liveshows planen die 5 Rocker für den Winter 06/07 das erste Demo-Album, wofür man zudem Gastmusiker verpflichten möchte, was den Spaßfaktor sicher noch erhöhen dürfte. Man darf also äußerst gespannt! Weniger anzeigen
