Recorded during January 2017 in Düsseldorf, the new E.P. Fire! has been captured directly from the band’s rehearsal room after more than one year of preparation.
Mixed and mastered by Michael Mölders at the Electric Mojoland Studio in Mülheim an der Ruhr, the primary purpose was to give these songs the edge and the bite that they deserved.
As a result, five songs exuding heart and passion. Five songs representing a band ready to spread their message to the world.
As a musical synthesis, with one foot in the past and one foot in the present, the band picks up the best of Rock music from the four last decades. Off the beaten track and no-frills, what you see is what you get: voice, tube amps, acoustic drum and pure energy.
From a journey through the desert with a song like “Down” or in the meanders of the sad soul of “Sonny”, Black Electric Club take you by the hand and invites you to enter the temple.
