Ein Juwel der Bielefelder Rockszene: Ruby in the Box! 2015 gegründet und seit Ende 2018 in neuer Besetzung präsentiert sich Ruby in the Box mit ihrem musikalischen Facettenreichtum. Ein Mix aus Indie- Blues- und Stonerrock, geprägt von der einzigartigen, souligen Stimme der Sängerin Alexandra Jermak, präsentiert sich wie das Leben selbst - als emotionsgeladene Gesamtdarbietung, die mitzureißen versteht. Mit zahlreichen tausendfach geschriebenen Attributen ließe sich das Spiel von Ralf Gibbert (Guitar), Carl Meinert (Bass) und Martin König (Drums) beschreiben. Geschrieben wird viel, aber am Ende liefert Ruby in the Box schlicht Ohrwurm-Songs und den unwiderstehlichen Drang rhythmisch mit dem Kopf zu nicken.
