Wir haben darüber berichtet. Aus nicht vollständig nachvollziehbaren Gründen erzielte die aktuelle "50th Anniversary Edition 1970" von Bob Dylan extrem hohe Preise.
Obwohl die Preise seit dem Höhepunkt direkt nach Veröffentlichung etwas gesunken sind, lassen sich noch immer zwischen 500 und 800 Euro erzielen.
Bald offiziell erhältlich
Grund genug für Sony das 3 CD Set offiziell zu veröffentlichen. Es erscheint am 26. Februar 2021. Über eine Vinyl-Veröffentlichung ist noch nichts bekannt.
Sony geht offensichtlich davon aus, dass die Anwesenheit von George Harrison bei einer Session den Unterschied macht – eine Vermutung, die auch wir geäußert haben.
Auf jeden Fall sinnvoll
Lustigerweise ist die Harrison-Session der am wenigsten interessante Teil der Veröffentlichung. Erstens ist sie seit Jahrzehnten in hervorragendem Sound als Bootleg verbreitet und zweitens ist sie nicht sonderlich inspiriert.
Inhaber des seltenen Originals sollten sich nicht grämen. Für Sammler wird es seinen Wert behalten und diejenigen, die diese Sessions unbedingt haben wollen, kommen auch nicht zu kurz. Solche Takes von "Went To See The Gypsy" sind auf jeden Fall wertvoll.
