Bad Times, Good Friends" is the name of the second EP of Indi/Alternative/Progressive Rock
Band Banquo to be released on April 15th via Dackelton Records dackelton.de/.
Their first single „Brothers“ will be available on March 25th along with a music video.
In the six songs of the EP, the four musicians from Düsseldorf and Cologne portray
various individual fates and sing about the different relationships people have with themselves and others.
They also touch on topics that most of us may have been concerned with over the past year like freedom of movement, identity or the LGBTQ+ agenda.
The video of "Brothers" takes up the thought of being haunted by one's own ambitions and so the protagonist does not allow himself to rest as otherwise he will be caught by his inner demons.
Musically, heavily distorted guitars and drums hit you like a storm in the chorus while the throbbing
and creaking synthesizer of the song’s verse provides drive and tempo. The song is carried by deep reverberating guitar melodies reminiscent of bands like Thrice, Dredg and Oceansize.
