This album was recorded at home where Niko and I lived together in Berlin... and it is the first record we have made featuring percussionist Joe Smith. Also Damir Bacikin appears again as a guest with his beautiful trumpet. Niko and I worked on this during the summer of 2009, inspired after getting to play at the Fusion Festival and after self-releasing Ebb to all our friends. This is obviously about the ancestors... for them, from them... they made me write these songs and forced me to record this record... the ancestors aren't always very diplomatic. If I didn't write these songs they said I would never become a real human... so I took the pill and never came
