Dominik Maciejewski

Dominik Maciejewski is a young artist based in Germany. He bought his first guitar at the age of 15 and since then losing a single finger would be more tragic than any blues ballad ever told. As he learned basic chords on the guitar, he already started to write his first songs, caring little about whether they’re good or bad during that time. He just kept on going, driven by his love for music. Today, he unveils a unique repertoire of self-written songs that echo his profound faith to the world.
He discovered his love for the Blues already at a very young age. It all started back in the day, when he was visiting the primary school in Poland, where he’s originally from. The principals used to organize a philharmonic orchestra concert every month at the school, exposing young minds like Dom (...) Mehr anzeigeninik's to the wonders of music and the allure of instruments.
One day fate took a twist. The scheduled orchestra couldn't make it to school, and the principal had to improvise. The only act they could get short termed was a three man blues band. Their performance, including an improvised track about his hometown Walbrzych fascinated him so much that he immediately fell in love with this genre. He started to listen to classic blues musicians like Big Joe Williams, Lighntnin’ Hopkins, Otis Spann and many more. Since then he started dreaming about learning how to play an instrument, which he did after moving to Germany. During his time learning the Guitar he discovered the legendary 60’s Band the Doors, which also fascinated him after Hearing the masterpeace “break on through” to the other side.
Besides the irreplaceable Jim Morrison, he was influenced by Names like Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley, so his musical background is a very interesting mix of worlds.
