Final Approach

Finest Hardrock – that’s what these four guys from Flensburg, northern Germany live for. Starting off in the summer of 2011, they are in the early stages of what will surely prove to be an exciting career. These guys know how to rock and that’s their secret. With all of them around 30 years of age, they all together can look back on many years of music experience.
The band unleashes their raw energy in the lyrics to their songs, which are mostly about conflicts with society and previous relationships and the band’s unpolitical idealogies. But actually it’s all about the music: “We don’t want the people to forget good handmade music, cause all this pop and poprockrockmusic around us nowadays isn’t really our way.” And that’s why Final Approach play classical hardrock with a lot of blues inf (...) Take a portion of leadsinger Niggi’s rough and dirty voice, who at the same time plays rhythm guitar, then a little of lead guitarist Alex’s melodical blues influenced guitarplay, drummer Till’s long music and band experience and bassist Helge’s metal and grindcore roots and you get their unmistakable and distinctive sound.
Final Approach were able to show their capabilities on various gigs since early 2012, half a year after they started the band. Together with other bands, they started and organised a local concert series called “Warehouse Rocks”, which, in the future, will surely grow to be one of the big rock events in the city of Flensburg and a date to remember, turned out to be a great show, almost selling out the venue. Gaining a reputation for incredible live shows, their energetic performances and authentic songs have also brought Final Approach to be the headliner of the annually arranged Mole Hill Open Air 2012.
