“We ́ve always been inspired by big English rock bands and wanted to play big festivals all over the world to be a part of the scene. So we packed our stuff and had to take our shot.“
The band has been touring through the UK, Germany and Norway since, making themselves a name in the indie newcomer scene.
Founded in 2017 by singer/songwriter Janik Setz and guitarist Tobias Hanel, KALON has found a mixture of its own dynamic and massive indie rock sound bringing haunting melodies and a bag full of ener- gy together. While the adventure of more and more guitar bands seemed to have settled down, they ́ve just started theirs and it ́s their youthful recklessness what inherits their mantra the most: we want to turn the sceptic into dancers.

The debut single Gotta Let Go was released in June 2018 and mixed by British producer Richard Flack who ́s worked for the likes of Florence & The Machi- ne, Palma Violets and Queens Of The Stone Age.
He has now started to produce the band in a studio in Suffolk and with their new material recorded the band is keen to release their debut EP in early 2020.
