Here are rough demos I have recorded over the past two years. I am seeking a bassist, drummer, keys or guitarist in Dresden, Leipzig or Berlin. Looking for collab​oratio​n, and not just a band to play my songs. Should be energetic players, who have a desire to perform, and are willing to work hard, and tour.
The aim of the music is a singer-song-writer, rock, pop foundation with a mix of rhythms from jazz to punk, funk to latin, etc. and a mix of percussive tones from standard drums, bongos, cajon peruano, shakers, to more experimental percussion like metal, glass bottles, bike wheels, etc… to even electronic sounds.
Most of this music of course has a melancholic vibe that I hope to contrast with an interesting pallet of sounds and eloquent rhythms.

Musikalischer Werdegang

By no means do I consider myself a profesional musician nor do I value such a standard title. I am interested in all forms of art and I dedicate myself to understanding and discovering the art of song-writing.

My name is Joshua Hines. I am 30 years old and I am based, for now in Dresden Nuestadt. I sing, play the acoustic steel and nylon guitar and the electric guitar. I also use keyboards, small instruments, software and computer editing and household items to instrumentalize my songs. At the moment I am also learning how to play the bass. I studied “Musical Composition with Electronic Acoustic Mediums” (experimental contemporary music) in Buenos aires, Argentina. I speak an intermediate level German, and fluent English and Spanish.

I have made Rock, Pop, Electronic, Folk, and Experim (...) Mehr anzeigenental music as well as soundscapes and scores. I also have recording and mixing experience, but at the moment I have very limited resorces for such tasks and do to this fact and other factors my demos do not represent my capabilities in this area.
