Smokin' Ribs

The Smokin‘ Ribs are a Band out of the coppercity Stolberg. Their kind of Music couldn’t be named in one word. All bandmembers started by making punkrock in different Bands. At least they found together, making acoustic and folk with elements of country and rock’n’roll. Finally you can call it in a way “danceable whisky rock’n’roll”, as only the craggy voice remembers of the times the boys made punkrock. Their influence may be Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer, Tim Timebomb , The Pogues and Bob Dylan. Sascha Raderschall (Bass) and Maximilian Möhring (Drums) making a simple beat to the clean guitarsound of Mike Carell, Marcel Moitroux and his distinctive harp. Order one beer and one scotch and visit the dancefloor!
