Strip no Altar

Ironic, Immoral and Politically incorrect. These are three characteristics that can be found on the Strip no Altar songs.

Plinio Scambora on the vocals and guitar, and Erick Johnsons on the bass, started the band at beginning of 2008. Hud Souza joined the band later, on the drums, now the Strip no Altar was complete. With an irreverent and instigant proposal on the lyrics, while the instrumental can be described as a straight and powerfull cross-over between heavy metal, hardcore, rock’n roll and old school punk rock.

Even in 2008, the band released their first EP called Voner, wich had a great repercussion and acceptance from the crowd.

The band got solid experience on the stage, playing on several gigs during 2009.
After a successful tour, the Strip no Altar hit the studio again in 20 (...) Mehr anzeigen10 to prepair their full length debut album: “The Hell Soundtrack”, that was released in 2011 by the Label Alternative Music and distributed by Voice Music in Brazil/South America.

The album was officially released at the first European Tour of the band, in May of 2011, playing in Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia.

In September 27th/2011 the band released “The Heaven Soundtrack”, a Digital EP only on Itunes, with alternative versions of the singles “S.A.V.A.G.E.”, “The best for you again”, “Strip in the Altar” from The Hell Soundtrack and with the new single “Tina’s Café”. Also in September, the video clip of the single “S.A.V.A.G.E.” was officially released on MTV Brazil, at “Erotica MTV” show, at day 30th, one day before the beginning of the second European Tour of 2011.
