Yellowcakes

Energiegeladen, eingängig, zynisch – kurz: Hurrapessimismus. Das ist das Motto von Yellowcakes. Pate stehen die ruhelosen Geister von Warren Zevon, Tom Petty, John Lennon, Bon Scott oder Phyl Lynott und nicken lässig im Takt: „There’s only one direction but noone drives as fast as me!“ Mit einer Mischung aus brutalen Riffs und Melodien zum Mitsingen reißen Yellowcakes selbst den lethargischsten Rockmuffel aus seinen müden 2000er-Latschen – und laden ein auf eine wilde Alternative-Rock-Odyssee durch die 60s-90s, ohne dabei an Zeitgeist einzubüßen. Nein, es ist nicht die Neuerfindung des Rades, aber gottverdammt, es rollt!
Nach dem Debut-Album „FURTHER“ (2022), geht der Nachfolger „Of Monsters And Madness“ aktuell in die Pre-Produktionsphase über.

With a mixture of brutal riffs and sing-along-melodies, Yellowcakes will knock even the most lethargic rock slacker off his weary 2000s socks - and invite you on a wild alternative-rock-oddity through the 60s-90s, without lacking of Zeitgeist. No, it's not the reinvention of the wheel, but goddamn, it rolls!
After the debut album "FURTHER" (2022), the successor "Of Monsters And Madness" is currently in the pre-production phase.
