That Tree is the debut album by KOOB and her Berlin-based ensemble. Rooted in jazz, soul, and free improvisation, the album explores themes of migration, belonging, identity, and transformation. Drawing from KOOB's experiences between Belarus and Germany, the music moves between intimate storytelling, explosive collective improvisation, and richly textured compositions.
