Details
‘Broken Clouds’ addresses various forms of deception and disillusionment.
The EP moves between personal, social and political levels and captures
moments in which supposed certainties are shattered.
The songs tell of failed relationships, of the feeling of not being able to keep up with one's own life, of self-doubt in the context of social expectations, and of a world situation that makes long-suppressed realities tangible again.
What all the songs have in common is honest, direct language and the absence of simple answers.
‘Broken Clouds’ is neither a reckoning nor a commentary from a distance. The EP captures inner states as they arise in moments when clarity is lacking and orientation is lost. It gives space to uncertainty, frustration and vulnerability without resolving or evaluating them.
