“Remember To Die” is a thoroughly cohesive debut that certainly leaves some room for improvement here and there, but on the other hand shows a bit more nerve than the scene’s consensus. Ending with a VOIVOD cover—and thus squaring up to the gods—is certainly bold, but MAESÜN handle it surprisingly well. It’s worth checking out; with this in-between release—somewhere between an album and an EP—the Berlin band have already left the average behind.
