Soulsplitter's full-length debut record pays respect to 50 years of Progressive Rock history. Conceptually rooted in 70s Progressive Rock concept albums like ELP's "Tarkus" or Pink Floyd's "The Wall" they combine vintage elements with the achievements of 90s Progressive Pioneers like Porcupine Tree, Opeth or Dream Theater and contemporary artists like Haken or Leprous.
Taking the "Progressive" serious, they try to expand their different bakcgrounds, ranging from Classical to Jazz to Pop to Rock, to create something ecclectic - truly new and unique.
Well received by the press it scored high ratings in most Prog outlets and the band is burning to bring their first Opus to the stages of the world.
"It’s incredible how unpredictably wanton but maturely serious an act can be on their first release, and it’s also very easy to start to foretell that Soulsplitter‘s future is a blindingly glaring one." - EVERYTHING IS NOISE
