“Tourist” blends electronic textures with organic elements, combining distorted vocals, synths, live drums, and warm guitar and keyboard layers. The interplay of harmonies and dual vocals creates a dynamic, almost playful tension throughout the tracks, while the minimalist sound design keeps everything grounded.
The EP explores the tension between feeling deeply connected to the world and simultaneously distanced from it. It reflects on themes of impermanence and acceptance, questioning whether the growing sense of disconnection is a natural part of life or a sign of something larger—perhaps a collective, societal shift. In an era where genuine connection often feels lost, “Tourist” subtly asks: What holds us together, and where do we truly belong?
