This is my second album of bluessongs, gospels and ragtimes originally written and performed by the great bluesmen and women of the 1920s, 30s, and the late 40s. Each track on this album is one entire take, nothing has been assembled from pieces of multiple takes to correct mistakes or enhance a dubious performance. In this respect, each track was recorded the same way the original tunes were.
All the songs were recorded live in the uniquemusique studios in Bamberg, Germany, without sampling, re-recording, double-tracking, overdubbing or the like of that.
