Amakó

Amakó is a musical project and way of life that was born from the conjunction of two artists and musicians of long trajectory: Ellen O and Toñako Ixâh.
Their music mixes various genres that include musical pitch such as soul, funk, reggae, flamenco or ethnic music, achieving their own style, a result of many years of work .
With a common idea about consciousness, transformation and evolution, they understand music as a healing entity, both for the performer and for the listener, an ancestral medicine that they already used since the dawn of time.
With a focus on life that further reinforces this union and vision, they create a positive synergy between Ellen O's powerful voice and compositions and Toñako's musical and lyrical versatility.
This new formation has already left a very good tast (...) Mehr anzeigene in the mouth through its last tour in Germany and its various performances in the Canary Islands, and is currently working on future projects towards the mein land of Spain, Africa and the rest of Europe.
Immersed in the production of their new songs that will see the light in their first work, they try to cover and merge their wide range of styles, instruments and musical approaches, always under the basis of their principles and philosophy:
