DAWN DRIVEN is a four piece Swiss rock band that writes songs ‘cause life is too short and too crazy not to do so. The band was founded by Bigu (Vocals), Adi (Guitars), Mado (Bass) and AJ (Drums). They all grew up next to Lake Constance in the borderland between Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

»It all started with a chainsaw in my leg. I was 16 and too distracted to do my job, ‘cause my thoughts were everywhere. I remember mum coming to the hospital and asking anxiously what will become of you son? It was the next day that a good friend brought me a book called No One Here Gets Out Alive. After playing in different bands the f (...) Mehr anzeigenour came together for a jam session in spring 2010 and it hardly needed any mentioning that the band was set that very first night. They named themselves DAWN DRIVEN to express their intention to go on an uncertain journey. Just three months later they did their first EP and in 2010 they already had their first song on the radio. »Our songs are positive and optimistic cause life is an adventure which we want to reveal. On the other hand they are quite combative as there is also a lot of shit going on in the world that we don’t like at all and deeply wish to change. And therefore DAWN DRIVEN is a mixture of rebellion and a celebration. «
In spring 2012 DAWN DRIVEN signed a record deal with MusikVertrieb and the band has just finished the recording of its yet untitled debut album which is scheduled to be released in late 2012 or early 2013. »The whole thing is about straight forward rock songs with an atmosphere of departure and adventure. We are ready to step into the future and quite sure that we’re not going there alone.
