About gXSound!

gXSound is an agency founded in 2004 by Günther Golob. Since 2009 gXSound is a society "Corporation in Furtherance of art, culture and music". It has arisen from the need to allow a transparent and effective start and insight into Austrian music business for young artists and for those who still feel young. Over the last years gXSound could enlarge its sphere and its service package constantly.

In Contrast to many other agencies, which restrict their attendance mainly on management or booking, we made it to our business to maintain bands not merely in these 2 divisions, but rather to share, in cooperation with organisers, event managers and press partners years of know-how in business. All participants of the agency and its partners are long-serving in their subject areas (...) Mehr anzeigen and have there from the resulting funded lessons learned. This concept has exposed successfully, so gXSound was able to expand activities to Germany and Switzerland. With establishments in Vienna, Graz and Munich the first step into Internationality has been done in 2008.

No matter whether a band needs help with booking or finding a fitting recording studio. Whether a PR-strategy has to be done, an event should be supported or help is needed for the perfect appearance on stage or in media, with gXSound you can rely on years of Experience and an professional approach.

Further to the extern gXSound-managed events, the gXCrew started to organize own concerts and events in 2009. So we brought the successful German concert series “KOMM ROCKEN” to Austria. Since this time, there are at least two "KOMM ROCKEN" per year, on which our indigenous artists can share the stage with international bands (e.g. from Finland, Slovenia, Germany, the States and so on...)

Beside a number of organisers, clubs, pubs and musicbars in Austria, gXSound works for festivals, just as Parabol Festival, Full Moon Festival, Rock the Lake, Rock am Röcksee, California Dream Festival and many more, as well.

Since midyear 2010 gXSound is a partner of the international "Graviton Music Service". Together we try to promote and support our bands promising on the international market.

The society gXSound "Corporation in Furtherance of art, culture and music" is not based on profit. We are always looking for sponsorships from the private industry and are depending on public funds yet. That's why we try to find a strong financial partner, who assists gXSound and thereby the Austrian music culture on theis way to the international business.

However the main target of gXSound is still the funding and the support of Austrian artists on an international level.
