THE MARKUP

Technically Soulful. Financially Funky.

We’re a tight, seasoned funk band based out of Bad Camberg, and we live for funky rhythms. We operate completely independently, but work closely with the "Goldener Grund e.V." jazz club, which serves as our home base.

Our pocket includes deep funk, soul-funk, jazz-funk classics, and neo-funk (like those funky Scary Pockets arrangements).

If you’re all about funky grooves and want to spend your time gigging on stage rather than trapped in endless rehearsals—and you’re a pro or high-level semi-pro with a professional mindset—we want you in our collective. Let’s do a quick vibe check to see if we click personally and musically.

We’re aiming for that effortless ease, dynamic range, and crowd interaction of Vulfpeck. Check it youtu.be/0oIIRc (...) Mehr anzeigen0zc_U?is=Ivm9sxv6MnI0tRKi

If rigid structures bore you and you catch your creative spark in the unpredictable, you’ll fit right in. We need someone who isn't afraid to bend genre lines. We don’t do textbook covers. You need to know your instrument inside out—not to stare at charts, but to lock into spontaneous shifts in groove, tempo, or key on the fly.

If this has you smiling and thinking, "Finally, my kind of people," hit up Izzy ;-)
