Mezolozyde

Mezolozyde is a Berlin based Alternative - Industrial Rock project.

Created by Ezequiel Debernardi in 2018, Mezolozyde is an invitation to everyone who loves music and is passionate about it.

Riding with him on ‘his solo side’ you’ll find introspective journeys to his deep feelings + some Sci-Fi fantasies & life stories.
All of this is reflected in songs with 90’s vibes and Alternative Rock Music mixed with Industrial Metal sounds. 

In this project working with Enrico Tiberi and featuring Quique Del Bianco (No Darling) on Guitars, he released the first single "Sooner or Later",  followed by a music video directed by Senior VFX Artist Martin Pedreira (Game of Thrones, Black Panther, Godzilla)

With the first single the goal was to introduce “Mezolozyde’s world” and the identity of the pr (...) Mehr anzeigenoject as not just isolated pieces, but as a whole concept. Mezolozyde is not just music accompanied by video clips, but a whole universe of its own, music, lyrics, and visuals.

“Sooner or Later” revolves mainly around the world-building of the futuristic, dystopian world of Mezolozyde, strongly focusing on the performances of EzZe, Quique Del Bianco at the guitars, and dancer Liana Aska, giving the video movement and dynamism. 

Later on, Mezolozyde released remixes from Nemrac (Syncretism Records), The Ebertbrothers (Mindwaves Music), and Nrec (Nrecmusic), three great music producers settled in Berlin, letting you listen to their so diverse and unique versions of the song that will blow your mind.

“The Call” is the name of the second single and builds on Mezolozyde’s first video clip. Connecting stories and elements taken from the lyrics, it reveals a futuristic and dystopian version of Berlin in the year 2077. Introducing a potential villain, a mysterious woman, the viewer notices that EzZe is being chased. They then travel with him through the hidden parts of this dark gritty future Berlin while at the same time taking in its glamorous and flashing facade.

Once again the music video is directed by Martin Pedreira.

A new music video is in post-production as we speak and is expected to be released later this year along with other collaborations.

EzZe began this project after finishing recordings of the 2nd studio album with The V’s (His first rock band since he moved to Berlin from Buenos Aires - Argentina)

With The V’s, he has released “Dawn” (2012), “Narcolepsy Girl Ep” (2017), and “Dusk" their third work, which is set to be released in mid-2023.
They also won the local Berlin’s “Hard Rock Rising” music contest by Hard Rock Cafe in 2015 Weniger anzeigen
