Angel Rush

ANGEL RUSH is the ambitious band project of Marvin Angeletti and Toby Ruscher — a musical duo that blends cinematic ambition with explosive power, pushing the boundaries between rock opera, metal epic and industrial soundtrack.
Their style is a bold fusion of Wagnerian Rock in the spirit of Meat Loaf & Jim Steinman, the intensity of progressive metal and metalcore (Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium) as well the dystopian soundscapes of Nine Inch Nails and the epic drama of a Hans Zimmer score.
Lyrically they are winging love and loss, as well as the value of true emotion in a time of superstition and neglect.

Marvin brings a love for raw energy and orchestral delicacy — shaped by influences like Slipknot and film composer John Williams. Toby contributes the urge for musical storytelling, drawi (...) Mehr anzeigenng inspiration from Andrew Lloyd Webber & Elton John, mixed with the resourcefulness of Daft Punk, the spheric flair of Pink Floyd, hopefully meeting the sharp wit of Tim Minchin in the writing.

ANGEL RUSH follows a clear production credo: no sonic mush. Every sound is precisely crafted. Vocals are produced with a bold, front-and-center pop-rock clarity — unless the narrative calls for something different.

The result: a soundscape like a musical blockbuster — dramatic, emotional, and uncompromising.

As their first project, they are creating the concept album "Dream of Melusine" , in which every song works both on its own and as part of an escapist narrative, that reinterprets the traditional myth of Melusine with a modern, psychological approach about attachment disorders and family trauma redemption. It will be a first of many. They are looking forward to live gigs as well as reinventions of their concept albums in both film and theatrical works.

ANGEL RUSH creates epics - and every note tells a story. Weniger anzeigen
