Composer - Performer - Producer - Sound Engineer

Instruments: Voice, guitar, saxophone, clarinet, keyboards, melodica, laptop, harmonica.

Colin was brought-up in a classical music environment in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium.
In the late nineties, he moved to Manchester to study a HND course in Sound Engineering at Salford University and since then has been involved with many different bands as a Performer, Composer and Producer.

His love for composition started when he worked as a Sound Engineer at The Salzburg Festival in Austria with American avant-garde Theater Director Robert Wilson and with Belgian Composer and Film Director Thierry de Mey. In 2006, Colin worked and performed with the bass session player Herbie Flowers (Lou Reed, (...) Mehr anzeigen David Bowie,...) on Rockshop Projects at The Dartington International Summer School.

In June 2011, he graduated with a First-Class Honours Ba (Hons) in Music at Salford University.

In November 2013 he has been awarded the degree of Master of Arts by Research at The Huddersfield University in recognision of a programme of work entitled 'Composing for Instruments and Electronics; a commentary on my recent music'.

Currently Colin is living in Berlin where he is working on on the first Colin & Ché Album and his first Can Guru? Album. Weniger anzeigen
