Eyreen Sue

Eyreen Sue ist bildende Künstlerin und Musikerin.
Sie lebte einige Zeit in New York, Kapstadt, Frankfurt und Düsseldorf.
Als Sängerin mit einer außergewöhnlichen Bandbreite bevorzugt sie jedoch ganz klar die Bereiche Rock, Soul, Blues, kombiniert in ihren Darbietungen viele unterschiedliche Gesangsstile.
Eine kraftvolle und markante Stimme, ähnlich der von Janis Joplin.
Wenn sie beginnt, kann man sicher sein, etwas Besonderes im Bereich Rockmusik zu hören und eine energiegeladenene und großartige Leistung auf der Bühne zu sehen.
Auf die Frage, was Musik und Kunst für sie bedeutet, sagt sie ganz einfach: " Das ist mein Leben".
In den vergangenen Jahren hat sie viele Projekte organisiert und sich selbst in viele Projekte eingebracht, arbeitete dabei mit vielen Künstlern wie z.B. Paul McCartn (...) Mehr anzeigeney oder Doro Pesch.
Für den NFLE Club Rhein Fire schreibt und singt sie die letzte Hymne "Fire" wieder zusammen mit ihrer Freundin und Trauzeugin Doro Pesch.
Ihre Gibson Gitarre, die bei der Aufnahme des Songs verwendet wurde, trägt die Autogramme von Paul McCartney, Yusuf Islam a.k.a. Cat Stevens, Klaus Voorman, Bonnie Tyler, Boris Becker, Marius Müller-Westernhagen und mehr. Sie wurde versteigert für über € 20.000.- und gespendet für die Landminenopfer.
Für sie war es immer wichtig, sich als Künstlerin auch im Bereich Charity einzubringen. Zum Beispiel in 2005 ein echtes Band Aid Projekt mit der Aufnahme des Songs "Anywhere" für die Flutopfer des Tsunami in Asien zusammen mit sehr vielen Künstlern unter anderem Peter Hein von ehemals Fehlfarben sowie auch Doro.
Im Jahr 2006 beschäftigte sie sich in einer experimentellen Phase mit vielen verschiedenen Musikrichtungen, auch im Metal Bereich, um neue Wege für sich zu entdecken.
Später, im Juni 2007 traf sie zufällig mit dem ehemaligen Gitarristen der Metal Band High´n´Dry zusammen.
High´n´Dry war eine sehr bekannte Band in den späten 80er Jahren - sie tourten damals mit bekannten Musikern wie z.B. Iron Maiden, Roger Taylor, Roger Chapman und sie beschlossen ganz spontan, die Band mit Eyreen Sue als Frontfrau wieder aufleben zu lassen.
Mit High´n´Dry spielte sie das erste Konzert nachdem sie nur 3 Monate zusammen gearbeitet hatten.
Eyreen Sue und die Band arbeiteten hart und höchst professionell, so dass sie bereits zum Ende des Jahres das Album "THE RETURN" fertig hatten und im Frühjahr 2008 veröffentlichten.
Eyreen Sue hatte in diesem Jahr sehr viele Konzerte und spielt diese von da an mit High´n´Dry.
Das Highlight der Promotion Tour war das Heavy Christmas Meeting in der Philipshalle in Düsseldorf/ Germany im Dezember- zusammen mit Saxon, W.A.S.P., Doro, U.D.O.
Viele Konzerte in Europa sowie auch eine USA Tour mussten abgesagt werden, da die Band sich nach dem Konzert trennte.
Aber es ging weiter.
Eyreen Sue arbeitete weiter an neuen Veröffentlichungen mit verschiedenen Produzenten und plante zu dem Doppel Album eine Single Veröffentlichung.
2010 tourte sie mit ihrer Woodstock Band durch Europa- viele Club Konzerte sowie auch große Festivals standen auf der Tour Liste u.a. The Spirit Of Woodstock in Italy.
Einige ausgewählte Songs, live und Studio, kann man über Reverbnation und Sonicbids hören. Das Live Album "Trip To Woodstock" wured im gleichen Jahr veröffentlich beim Major Label MCP. DasAlbum enthält Musik aus der legendären Ära mit Songs der Künstler, die beim damaligen Festival aufgetreten sind , aber auch Songs von Künstlern, die dort hingehört hätten.
Das Album TRIP TO WOODSTOCK enthält zwei CDs mit Bonus Material, einigen extra EP-hits ausserdem eigene Stücke wie auch eine Live Jam Session "Junkie" handgemachte Live Musik ohne Nachbearbeitung.
Eyreen Sue ist eine echte Live Künstlerin- sie erinnert mit ihrer Bühnen Performance an Künstlerinnen wie Tina Turner.

Im Herbst 2019 wird ein neues Album unter ZUZA veröffentlicht.

Bio
Eyreen Sue is a visual artist and musician.
Her mother Irene was a teacher and her father Erwin was a certified management accountant and director.
Born on the 5th of April and raised in Poland she left the country with her family at the age of 9 and settled in Germany, where she still lives.First they came into a detention centre in Germany, then lived for about one year in the transit camp Unna/ Massen. They settled in Essen in North Rhine Westfalia.
She went to an Academic High School in Essen where she was awarded a scholarship for gifted children.
All the time she experimented with different music genres.
At the age of 23 she got the opportunity to fly for an international Airline what she happily did as travelling, special Flying, through the wide world was one of her big dreams.
During her flying era she acquired a good knowledge in different languages and studied the arts in several colleges/schools of the visiting countries during her flight layovers.
What she thought would be a brief spell for a period of two years -should be almost a quarter-century of her life. After 23 years, she resigned as purser of the flying life and devoted herself exclusively to self-employment in the visual arts, skin art and music.
She lived for a time in New York, Capetown, Frankfurt but most of the time in Düsseldorf.
Currently she lives and works in Lohmar near Cologne.
She is a singer with an outstanding range and with clear preferences for the heavier stuff, combining a variety of styles.
A powerful and distinctive voice, strong like Janis Joplin.
When she starts, be shure to hear something special inside Rock and to see a powerful and great performance on stage.
At the question, what music and art means to her, she simply says: “It ´s my life.”
There are many projects she involved herself in the passed years and musicians she worked with like e.g. Doro Pesch and Paul McCartney.
For the NFLE- Club Rhein Fire she sings the last hymn of the club: “Fire”, again together with her friend Doro Pesch.
Her Gibson guitar that had been used for the recording of “Fire” is signed by well known personage like Paul McCartney, Yusuf Islam a.k.a. Cat Stevens, Klaus Voorman, Bonnie Tyler and many others and sold by auction for more than € 20.000.- the sum donated to the victims of landmines.
As social aspects and help for those who are in need, are very important to her, she initialises through the years much more in Charity like 2005 a real band- aid: a benefit concert and the recording "Anywhere" for the victims of the Tsunami in Asia with many musicians she knows like Doro Pesch and Peter Hein of former Fehlfarben and many more.
Through 2006 she did a lot of experimental work in Metal and other genres to find new ways to express herself in music and performance.
Later, in June 2007 she met with the former guitar player of the Metal band High´n´Dry, by chance: High´n´Dry was popular in the late Eighties. and toured that time with famous musicians e.g. Iron Maiden, Roger Taylor, Roger Chapman and many more and they spontaneously decided to "wake up" the band HIGH´N DRY with Eyreen Sue´s dazzling vocals.
With High´n Dry she played the first concert after working together for only 3 months.
Eyreen Sue and the band worked hard and professional and brought into the market the Reunion Album "THE RETURN" , release date was in spring 2008.
Eyreen Sue had a lot of concerts she was booked for already when she met with High´n Dry and did all of them then together and in the name of High´n´Dry.
The highlight of this promotional Reunion- tour 2007 was the Heavy Christmas Meeting in the Philipshalle in Düsseldorf/ Germany on dec, 15th- together with Saxon, W.A.S.P., Doro, U.D.O. Many concerts around Europe as well as a tour through the US – east- and westcoast, had to be cancelled because the band split up after this concert.
But the music plays on....
Eyreen Sue always has many musicians available for live performances with any music she likes to bring on stage, any time.
Actual Eyreen Sue is working on new releases with different producers and prepares additional to the double album an EP for the summer tour in 2010.
She tours in 2010 with her Woodstock program- and band through Europe; many club concerts as well as huge Woodstock Festivals in July and August 2009, e.g. The Spirit Of Woodstock in Italy.

The album contains songs from the Woodstock era and from musicians that participated in the legendary concert as well as some songs of musicians that should have been there also, as they are milestones in the history and growth of Blues- and Rockmusic. With her range of easily more than three octaves she performs Janis Joplin as well as for example the Led Zeppelin songs authentic and full of power- and you really hear that power when you listen to.
The album TRIP TO WOODSTOCK contains two CDs with some extra EP-hits and new self- written tracks like "Junkie" - also a jam session recording- so, listen to "Trip To Woodstock", true music without any cuts and overdubs.
