Marcus Steiner

I grew up with music...I've been sitting behind a drum kit since I was five years old. When I was three, the pillow and wooden spoon were my drums. It all started in the basement of my parents' house.

Back then, I was still putting on vinyl records and playing my favourite songs on an overpowering sound system. To the delight of the neighbours, as you can imagine.

Then came the first cover band and then my own songs, culminating in the first album by my band Scorange. Then came Zaru, with whom I am still active today. In the meantime, rehearsals aren't as frequent as they used to be. As with many people, family life took over.

In the meantime, I've familiarised myself with the technology and the equipment. As nice as it is to play an acoustic set, it's just as great to use the techno (...) Mehr anzeigenlogy to create a drum sound that sounds as if you had played and mixed the song yourself.

Now enjoy my songs that have touched and accompanied me in some phase of my life.
