V. G.

I am a blues-rooted post/alt-rock guitarist focused on feel, texture, and groove. Whether locking into tight rhythms, building around riff-driven parts, or opening up into expressive leads, I play what the song calls for. I also sing and can step onto other instruments when it helps serve the arrangement.

My playing balances atmosphere and rawness, drawing on the space and dynamics of bands like Mogwai and Big Thief, with the grit of All Them Witches, The Black Keys, dEUS, or the Pixies.

I am at home in collaborative settings, from late-night jams and writing sessions to the stage. I am currently playing with The Driving Wheels (2025–present) and developing a new alt-rock/indie/blues project.
