Yahya Elnaggar

Hi, I’m Yahya, 24. I’m mainly a drummer, more groove/rhythm-focused than hardcore, and I’m looking to join an intermediate indie/alternative band or connect with musicians for covers, reworks and original music.

My main influences are Radiohead, Big Thief, Geese and Mac DeMarco’s early synth-heavy DIY approach.
Besides drums, I also play some keys/synths and work with Ableton, mixing, ambient/spacey sounds, Juno-60-style textures, Vital patches, delays and space echo. I did touch a guitar and a bass before.

I’d especially love to work on songs like Reckoner, Motion Picture Soundtrack, Separator, Paul, Taxes, Love Takes Miles and Miffed It — not just copying them, but making our own versions.
