Details

We are APEIRO, a modern metal band from Bielefeld / Ruhr area. We describe our music as “heavy music” – a mix of modern technical metal, emotional songwriting and intricate grooves. While working on our latest release Chroma, we played around 40 shows across Germany, from small venues to bigger festival stages.

We're looking for someone to join us as our new vocalist and help us take the next step: releasing another full-length album within the next 1–2 years, playing more shows and growing our presence. We want to travel further, too – playing abroad is definitely an option!
We already have eight new songs, most of which are written and mainly waiting for production.

What we bring to the table:
-An established band with professional gear and a solid songwriting/production workflow
-Arou (...) Mehr anzeigennd 10–20 shows per year, with programmed light shows and a matching visual identity
-Our own rehearsal space near Versmold, with biweekly rehearsals
-Existing merch, visuals and online presence
-Support with gear, recording and production
-Room to bring in your own ideas and shape our future sound

We're mostly around 30, so ideally you're somewhere in the 20–40 age range. We expect everyone to work independently between rehearsals, but we're not trying to turn the band into a full-time job.

What we're looking for:
-An ambitious, reliable and skilled vocalist who can perform live and in the studio
-Your own style and ideas, with a good sense of stage presence. You don't have to be a constant showman – being more reserved is fine as long as you connect with the music
-A basic understanding of songwriting and music theory
-Recording experience: we record our instruments at home, so you should be comfortable recording your own vocals. We'll help with gear and know-how
-A willingness to contribute beyond singing, e.g. social media, content, production, songwriting, design or visuals
-Your own musical gear, or the ability to build your setup over time

We're open to different vocal styles and new directions, but for our current material, a rough 70% clean / 30% guttural balance would fit best.

Interested?
If this sounds like you, hit us up! We'll send you 2–3 songs and vocal references to record at home. No need to be perfect – we're interested in your voice, ideas and approach. We're happy to answer any questions in english and german, too.

Cheers,
APEIRO Weniger anzeigen
