Hello people,

We, Wøødhead, are looking for a guitarist (m/f/d).

Our style is somewhere between grunge, and nu-metal with funk influences.
A mix of styles that can include bands like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Korn, Mundvayne, Suicidal Tendencies, Living Colour, etc.
There are four of us, between 30 and 33 years old, we like sport, music (obviously) and sometimes a long evening with a good beer.
So far we have released an EP of 4 songs + 4 videos. We are about to release a new EP of 4 songs + videos in the summer.
Besides those 8 songs, we have 13 more songs that we plan to record in November as our first album.
These 13 songs we are currently working on and we want you to add your creativity to this.
The lyrics of the band talk about life situations, some true stories and fictional o (...) Mehr anzeigennes and above all about our anti-fascist activism (important for you to know to keep working on this).
Although it is a very ambitious project, if you want to play with us, you have to have fun and enjoy it 🙂
It's important to mention that apart from the music there are external aspects of planning that we as a band pay attention to and help each other with, such as organising gigs, social media activity, new promotion ideas, etc.

To join the band, what you should bring:

- Reliability
- Commitment to the band

- Musical openness
- Creativity
- Studio and stage experience

Important points that if you bring them can benefit you:

- Being extroverted on stage and for making social media content.
- Enthusiasm and enjoyment for performing (videos of our songs, promotional videos, etc.).
- Artistic skills outside of music; music production skills or music business skills are always welcome

Other band details:

- The internal language of the band is English
- The guitars are tuned in C# and drop B
- We rehearse on Saturdays at 10 am in Moorflet-Bildstedt (in case you can't, we can arrange a new day/hour), as well as spontaneous rehearsals or composition rehearsals at someone's home.
- We work by In-Ear monitoring through a digital mixer, but in case you don't have or can't get a wireless system, we have a PA system.

Bio:
Explosive live Band aus dem verregneten Hamburg, mit harten, dynamischen Alternative-Groove-Rock Riffs, eingängigen Melodien, groovenden Beats & einer Prise Crossover/Funk zum mitspringen.
Style: Pantera & Black Stone Cherry meeting Soundgarden & Slipknot.
Die Idee der fünfköpfigen Band ist, Härte, Dynamik und Catchyness in ihren Songs zu verschmelzen und Genre-Cliches zu brechen, um live mit dem Publikum maximal abzugehen. Bedient wird sich hierbei hauptsächlich aus dem Nu- & Groove- Metal, sowie Funk, Grunge, Jazz und Rock. Die Kombo atmet den Dreck der Stadt, die Sehnsucht nach Veränderung, die Stärke der Freundschaft, den dunklen Regen und die sonnigen Tage in den Parks am Elbstrand.
