The Blacktones

The Blacktones are a Sardinian band formed in 2011. Their sound blends 90s metal, stoner and grunge influences with polyrhythmic elements and a modern approach.

The current lineup features Aaron Tolu (vocals), Sergio Boi (guitar), Paolo Mulas (guitar), Gianni Farci (bass) and Alessandro Castellano (drums).

After years of live activity, The Blacktones signed with Sleaszy Rider Records in 2023 and released their latest album, The Longest Year, on September 6, 2024. Since then, the band has continued promoting the album across Europe.

In 2026, The Blacktones released Thunder Underground, featured on A Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, a tribute album released through Antichrist Magazine.
