X-Y

XY is an alternative metal band from the French Riviera, influenced by bands such as Avenged Sevenfold, Bring me the Horizon, Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch.

After releasing 2 albums ("Another Me" and "Flying") and a live DVD, they were nominated for the “Hollywood Music in Media Awards” in November of 2011 with the song “I Miss You”. Meanwhile, their song "Superficial" has been added to the video game, "Rock Band 3".

The band began to distribute their music worldwide with the help of Youtube. To date, XY has registered more than 30 000 followers and obtained over 5 million views. They are also famous for their cover songs of some of American’s most recognized bands, mainly from Avenged Sevenfold, whom they met in Paris but also for their rock/metal remix covers like Lady Gaga's singl (...) In addition, the band regularly plays at home and abroad (Germany, Sweden, Italy), in March of 2013 they made their American debut in Los Angeles, at the world famous, "Whisky a Go-Go" where some of the biggest names in rock started (Guns n Roses, Rage Against the Machine, ...)

Giving more and more energy while playing live and following their primary tastes, they decided then to move the opposite way most bands go, XY went more into metal.
Their 3rd album "Memories / Now / Dreams" was released in April 2014 and they went on tour in May in the USA for 8 gigs. Weniger anzeigen
