This album is a diverse collection of songs written by Melissa from her early teenage years until quite recently. Before grandios sensibel was founded she played occasional small concerts alone at the piano but worked mainly on art and making music for herself and for her own short films.
At the end of 2018 she began to focus on her songwriting and decided to search for a fellow musician. In Joshua, who plays two string instruments, she found the perfect match.
"I definitely wanted Joshua to put a lot of his own style and character into the music and that it transformes into something new and different." During the next 10 months of weekly rehearsals, this vision bore fruit; together they rearranged and developed every song.
Two days, 11 songs, everything recorded live, just piano, vocals, cello and double bass. Nothing added, no effects, purely acoustic.
