With "The Terror" Utter Silence release their first studio album with two athmospheric anthems about great expectations, broken hope and deep despair.
The title track "The Terror" is an adventurous journey into the Arctic, following in the footsteps of the tragic Franklin expedition that began in 1845 and ended with the loss of 129 souls after trying to find the fabled Northwest Passage. Feel the cold of the eternal ice and the desperation of these brave men.
"Across the Astral Sea" is a transcendent journey into the depths of one's psyche, experiencing the inherent darkness as part of one's identity, overcoming fear, and ultimately accepting one's mortality as part of one's existence.
