DRACYOR – Vampiric Gothic Metal
(GER)

If you love the unique mixture of gothic atmosphere and metal sound, if you are a devotee of bands like Theatre of Tragedy, The Sins of Thy Beloved, Therion, Draconian, Tristania, Dead Can Dance, Lacuna Coil, Paradise Lost, Swallow the Sun and others, then DRACYOR is a new band you must definitely check out.
It is because DRACYOR unites operatic-fragile but also rocking and powerful female vocals, hellish growls and the lamenting gothic singing of a baritone.
Those vocals are embedded in an orchestra of sometimes simple, sometimes baroque metal guitars and keys, crested with dark violins and pillowed by a profound and pumping bass. All this is bound and driven by powerful drums!
But it´s not only the nocturnal septet you will like – it is also the story of the midnight bride Gyöngyvér brought onto the stage. It will take you to the land where light and darkness mingle, where new exciting beings come to life.
Founded in August 2019 this band brings back the days when Gothic Metal came to life and creates its own new vision of it. The musicians in this band have played in many bands before, all coming from metal backgrounds.
Their debut album "Gyöngyvér" was released in mid 2021 via Scare Records. The EP "Nocturnal Pieces" followed on March 3rd. The sophomore longplayer is planned for 2026 and then Dracyor will also hit the stages! Weniger anzeigen
