Der Mannheimer US-Rapper Jay Ryze verbindet in seiner Diskografie seine musikalischen Wurzeln und Einflüsse, die Genre-übergreifend sind.
Eines seiner Hauptmerkmale ist seine vor Selbstbewusstsein strotzenden Live-Performance, in der er immer wieder beweist, dass er einer der wenigen ist, die es schaffen, Themen- sowie Soundvielfalt, die von klassischem Boom Bap Rap bis hin zu Genren wie Funk, Rock, EDM aber auch Reggae und Horrorcore Rap reicht, zu vereinen.

In seinen Songs betont der Rapper häufig Themen wie Zusammenhalt, Community, aber auch selbst motivierende Hymnen (bsp. "Im A Legend" oder "Im Not Done"),

Band Amokoma, die sich seit 1983 zur Nummer 1 Partyband im Rhein-Neckar Kreis etabliert hat.

Independent schaffte er es zusammen mit seinem Duo-Partner TyFa und deren gemeinsamen Single "Just Killers" die 1.Mio Marke an Streams zu knacken. Durch seine häufigen Live-Auftritte bei Festen, Konzerten und Festivals spielte er ebenfalls für insgesamt mehrere Millionen Menschen. Im Jahr 2023 kam das Album "FEATURAMA" raus, in dem der Rapper sich das Ziel gab, seine Künstler-Community zu stärken, in dem er Gäste aus den verschiedensten Genres holte und jeden Track dem Sound seines Feature-Partners anpasste. Sein Vormarsch nimmt hier allerdings noch lange kein Ende, da bereits das nächste Album "PLANET RYZE", das seinen Fokus auf Disco & Funk Elemente setzt in den Startlöschern steht. One of his many key features is his radiant self confidence in terms of his stage show and live performance, in which he keeps proving himself to be a rare kind of rapper, being able to mix topics and switching between sounds and genres, be it Boom Bap Rap, or genres like Funk, Rock, EDM, or even Reggae and Horrorcore Rap.

His songs often reflect on topics which debate the importance of unity and community or even self motivational hymns (for example. "Im A Legend" or "Im Not Done"), which resonate with the listener and gives them the feeling of being an important part of his music.
His goal with his music is to make it possible for listeners who usually dont enjoy rap to have a creative and far from the ordinary entrypoint towards the genre.

He is known as a different breed of rapper among his peers, and since 2007 he has been calling the big stages of Germany his home.
He also performed at various festivals, for example the Happiness Festival, Das Fest and Hip Hop Open Minded. Furthermore, he is on tour throughout the year with the Band Amokoma, established 1983, and is known as the number 1 partyband in the Rhein-Neckar area.
