Jody Cooper and the Wonders covern große Hits des Soul und Funk, Rock und Blues aus den 60gern bis heute, mit merklicher Spielfreude und nahe am Original. Der studierte Sänger Jody Cooper aus Schottland beeindruckt dabei mit seiner gewaltigen und klaren Stimme. Shaban an der E-Gitarre kommt ursprünglich aus Kairo und spielt sein Instrument beeindruckend filigran. Die Hallenser Gordon Dannat an den Keyboards und Ulrich Dobe am Bass und der Leipziger Hannes Petri an den Drums runden mit ihrem "altgedienten" Können das Klangbild perfekt ab.
Jody Cooper and the Wonders überzeugen ihr Publikum mit überschäumenden Spielfreude, musikalischer Professionalität und ihrem sauberen Zusammenspiel.
