Deafcon5

It was probably fate when the band Deafcon5, consisting of five musicians from Hamburg, saw the glistening light of the progressive rock world in August 2008. The first album "High Deafinition" was produced and released in 2012. The next longplayer called "Track of dirt" followed in 2016, recorded in their own Tonbau43 studio. By using samplers and loops, the songs became more detailed and the first conceptual approaches were realised in the trilogy Calendarium I-III.
The first real concept album "F.E.E.L.", produced at Tonbau43 Studio and then refined by Simone Mularoni at his Domination Studios in San Marino, will be released in 2020. The sophisticated concept deals with the seven basic human emotions and how joy, anger, disgust, fear, contempt, sadness and surprise influence everyone's (...) Mehr anzeigenactions.

In order to follow the four year cycle of releases, songwriting for the next album began during the pandemic. Tonbau Studio was once again to be the five musicians' second home for the recordings in 2023. In February 2024, Domination Studio from San Marino took over the mixing and mastering in the usual professional quality. In autumn 2024, "Exit to insight" will be released worldwide by Fastball-Music. The idea for the conceptual story was sown by a science fiction novel and philosophises about "becoming who you are". The musical realisation is a multi-faceted journey through the world of progressive hard rock. Energetic guitars and grooving rhythms alternate with ballad-like sounds and playful synth sounds. Surprising time changes and complex harmonies sometimes sound random, but are therefore very exciting and provide a solid and complementary foundation for the varied vocal lines. Rounded off by complex song structures and arrangements with diverse nuances, the songs enjoy a strong musical identity and a high degree of recognisability.
