I have been looking for a guitar for a very long time. The day I actually found my guitar was a special one for me - I did not go to the shop to pick up a guitar, but to pick up a smaller string instrument. I was wanting to add some summer strumming sounds to my songs, I had one love song that I believed just could not go without that very color in the music production.

Needless to say I checked out a couple of ukuleles and fell in love with one which now accompanies me wherever I go.

Through her (yes, she is a she :-) since she sounds like one) I discovered the sounds and possibilities ukuleles have to offer.

Despite being small, they bring me tremendous joy.

I love the instrument I bought for the sound, for the shape which makes the sound fuller, and for how easy it is to take on hikes. I write most songs in nature and while walking around. I almost never leave the house without a uke. In case a song comes along, I immediately have something to fiddle with.

Thanks to whoever invented them. I will be forever grateful.
