ENG
OBSIDION was founded in 2019 by Tora-Linn and Gillian with the aim of establishing a unique style in symphonic metal, featuring Tora-Linn's mezzo-soprano alongside Gillian's cello as an accompanying voice and borrowing parts of the band's rhythmic segment from metalcore. The band's songs tell of the inner struggles of the soul, but also of the strength inherent in every being to win these battles.

After a forced break due to the corona pandemic and several lineup changes, the debut single “Night Unfrozen” was released in June 2024, including a music video, followed by the second single “Delirion” in January 2025, also with a music video. The EP “Emotional Alchemy” will be released in summer 2026.

In 2025 the band consists of six members: Tora-Linn (vocals), Gillian (cello), Flo (guitar), Jester (electric cello), Chris (keyboard), and Samuel (Drums).
