Orphic

Orphic is a Jordanian metal/rock project that blends progressive and melodic death metal, doom, gothic rock, atmospheric music and folk influences into a sound built heavily around storytelling. We focus on concept albums and world building within the story, combining clean and harsh vocals, English and Arabic lyrics, and classic metal elements with other instruments like harp, flutes, etc. We have steadily built its presence despite operating from Jordan, where opportunities for metal artists remain limited, performing at four local festivals as well as our own live gig. In October 2026, we will take our first step into the international scene with a debut European performance in Istanbul, while preparations are already underway for our first European tour in 2027.
