Parakeets

EN
Parakeets are Julius (27) and Merle Eckardt (24) - a sibling duo from
Düsseldorf who mix acoustic indie pop with jazzy, folky and bossa vibes. After
originally starting out as a five-piece indie rock formation, the band has
consisted of just the two siblings since 2023. Their shows consist of handmade
music, honest storytelling, a large portion of charm and real live looping. Their
goal: good music that puts you in a good mood. In 2024, Parakeets toured NRW
with their ‘Hosomaki Tour’ - and even made a detour to Hamburg. The ‘Better
Now Than Tomorrow Tour’ will now follow in 2025.
