SONIC DUNES

Influenced mainly by Blues, Psychedelic, Stoner and Indiepop, the music of Sonic Dunes shapes its own world. In a way, their music is like drifting along a beautiful, ferocious and constantly changing wave, using the sheer power that a guitar, a voice and drums can deliver. Bringing in the deeper aspects of true life to their music and lyrics, sometimes sad, dark and heavy, sometimes light and carefree like a first sunny warm day in spring, yet always with a touch of melancholy shining through. The main force being songwriter mastermind TB. Staffed with a constant flow of ideas - both lyrically and musically - that never seem to stop. His long time search for a like-minded and dependable drummer finally ended when he met LR, bringing in what the songs need, tight grooves, sometimes tribal (...) Mehr anzeigenand archaic as initially intended by TB, yet also bringing in his own rhythmic feel and complementary ideas due to long and consistant years of band experience. Both have finally found what they’ve been looking for - a duo. As a side effect, minimalizing the constraints, limitations and struggles of a regular four or five piece band. Doing their thing out of pure passion, not caring about the usual critics people put to a two piece band.
